What is a daily fantasy esports contest?
You are given a fixed virtual salary cap and a pool of professional players priced by recent output. You choose a lineup for one match day, and your lineup scores fantasy points from what those players actually do in their matches. Entrants are ranked against each other on total points.
How is the result decided?
Entirely by the recorded in-match statistics of the players you selected, converted by the published scoring table for that discipline. Nothing in the result is drawn, dealt or generated — two entrants with the same lineup always finish on the same score.
What does the entry fee pay for?
Entry fees form the prize pool, minus our rake of 12%. The rake is stated on the prize structure page and inside every contest before you enter.
Do I have to pay to take part?
No. Free contests run on the same slates with the same scoring and no entry fee. They award ranking only and are open without age or location verification.
Who can enter a paid contest?
Adults aged 18 or over in an eligible territory, with a verified account. The eligibility page lists every territory we accept and every territory we exclude.
When do lineups lock?
At the scheduled start of the first match on the slate. After lock a lineup cannot be edited, and any player who does not appear in their match scores zero rather than being substituted.
Where do the statistics come from?
From a licensed esports data provider under contract. We do not scrape third-party sites, and we do not record statistics ourselves.
What happens if a match is cancelled or forfeited?
The rules page sets out each case. In short: a cancelled match scores zero for every entrant equally, and if that removes more than half the slate the contest is cancelled and every entry fee is returned in full.
What is the difference between the contest formats?
They differ in how the field is paid. A guaranteed prize pool is top-heavy and pays roughly the top third. A 50/50 pays the top half of the field the same amount — your entry doubled, less rake. Head-to-Head is a field of two. Best-Ball is the one format that also scores differently: you draft a bench of eight once for a series and the best five count each day.
What happens to a guaranteed prize pool if hardly anyone enters?
It is still paid in full. The places the field cannot reach are dropped from the grid and the remaining shares are scaled up, so a $2,000 guaranteed pool pays out $2,000 whether twelve people enter or a hundred. If the field is below the stated minimum the contest is cancelled instead and every entry fee is returned.
How do I get paid?
A prize is credited to your account balance when the contest settles — the share of the prize pool that your finishing place earns under the published grid. It can be withdrawn to the method you deposited with once identity verification is complete.
Can I set a limit on what I spend?
Yes. Daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits are available in your account, along with time-outs and self-exclusion. A reduction takes effect immediately; an increase waits 24 hours.
